Digifest NYC, a one-day music festival comprised entirely of YouTube-based musicians, comedians, and performers, takes place tomorrow at Terminal 5 in Manhattan. Artists and comedians scheduled to perform include the likes of The Gregory Brothers, Improv Everywhere, Tyler Ward, Allstar Weekend, and Keenan Cahill.
Tickets for the event, which will run from 4pm through 11pm, are sold out.
So if you want to see any of the performances, you’ll have to go to AwesomenessTV, the teen-focused YouTube channel (and budding MCN) from Brian Robbins. The channel has inked a deal with festival producer DigiTour Media to become the exclusive content provider for Digifest NYC. It will be available via the Awesomeness Hollywood playlist on the channel, which plans to offer a selection of the best stuff from the seven-hour festival, including musical performances and comedy sketches.
DigiTour Media has produced over 70 live music events featuring an array of YouTube-based musicians, comedians, and performers since the company launched in 2010.
