Former Paramount digital chief Thomas Lesinksi has officially moved on to Legendary Digital Media to serve as president of digital content and distribution. Lesinksi will serve under Bruce Rosenblum, who heads Legendary Digital Media, which was launched in June.
As president of digital content, Lesinksi will coordinate Legendary Digital Media’s various production and distribution strategies. Lesinski previously developed Paramount Digital Entertainment in 2006 and served as president of the department until 2011. Under his supervision, Paramount Digital developed several multimedia properties including “Jackass 2.5” and Yahoo’s award-winning comedy series “Burning Love.”
Since its creation in June, Rosenblum has developed a crack team for Legendary Digital Media including former Wonderland Sound And Vision president Peter Johnson as EVP of scripted series development. According to Rosenblum, Legendary Digital is developing original programming for various digital platforms.
