Scott Nourse will be joining PBS Digital as the vice president of product development, where he will report to Ira Rubenstein, the senior VP and general manager.
Set to head the digital product team by managing product development and consulting, Nourse will work at PBS Digital’s Arlington, Virginia office. He comes to PBS from Sony Pictures Interactive, where he worked on production, design, technology, and product development to further the studio’s digital and mobile marketing.
Nourse also served as president of Deeply Superficial Productions, a digital agency based in Texas, and as the executive producer at American Cybercast in LA.
“Scott’s vision and leadership will supercharge our development of products, enabling PBS and member stations to serve audiences with the kind of high-quality content they have come to expect from PBS,” Rubenstein said in statement. “PBS and local member stations have long been innovators in using media to educate and entertain, and we’ve been extraordinarily successful in reaching new audiences via our offerings across digital platforms. With Scott’s help, we will continue that success.”
PBS counts over 350 member stations, reaching upwards of 28 million audience members online.
