Video ad startup Teads, a relatively new entrant in the US video ad market, has hired Eric Shih as its new senior vice president of business development. In the role, he will lead business development for Teads in the US market, focused on growing the company’s presence domestically.
Teads is a video-ad management platform for the supply side, and is currently used by an array of well-known publishers including The Economist and Forbes.
Prior to Teads, Shih was VP of business development for ulive, the lifestyle-focused digital video portal from Scripps Networks Interactive. He also had prior business development roles at TV networks like A&E and Fuse.
He will remain based in NY.
