European MCN Divimove has launched a new division to connect brands with creators within its network.
The new division, called Brandboost by Divimove, will work directly with brands and media companies in Europe to “optimize” their presence on YouTube, the company said. This includes consultation services for brands on strategy development, content ideas, and targeted advertising on the video site.
This is in addition to helping brand and media clients collaborate with YouTube creators within Divimove’s network, which encompasses 1,500 creators and collectively delivers more than 550 million views per month.
“Launching Brandboost by Divimove is the next logical step,” said Olaf Herzig, chief sales officer at Divimove. “It’s the formalization of our expertise in sustainable online video and how digital natives behave online. We have already delivered successful campaigns that demonstrated how much more potential there is for brands on YouTube.”
As part of the launch, Divimove has already locked in deals with existing brand clients like the environmental organization WWF Germany and railway company Deutsche Bahn.
For Deutsche Bahn, Divimove created an interactive video series for the company’s youth portal, draufabfahren.de. Created and produced in house, the series follows German YouTuber Julez as he travels by train across Germany, and calls upon his fans to vote on his next destination.
