Back in September, women’s beauty brand Moroccanoil launched an ad campaign and online platform called Inspired by Women. As part of the campaign, the brand also started a short-form series, “Inspired,” which showcase women who have made a difference.
Led by filmmaker Bryce Dallas Howard, the series latest episode spotlights inventor Jessica Matthews who created the Soccket, a soccer ball that also generates renewable energy through people, well, playing soccer. Matthews also co-founded Uncharted Play, currently serving as the company’s CEO.
“Inspired” features five other women active in issues like animal rights and children’s education. British actress/model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley serves as the campaign’s ambassador and stars in the first of the series’ short films.
