DramaFever has partnered with AOL-owned entertainment site Moviefone on the US premiere of the South Korean drama “Top Star.”
The film, which stars Um Tae Woong, Kim Min Joon,and So Yi Hyun, tells the story of an aspiring actor who uses less-than-savory means to achieve his dreams. It will be available for streaming on Moviefone.com on Saturday, October 18, at 12:01 am ET. Moviefone will also drive viewers to the stream via a “watch now” alert at the top of every page on the website.
“Top Star” is the directorial debut of actor Park Joong-Hoon, was written by Joong-Hoon and Choi Suk-Hwan. Lotte Entertainment is handling distribution.
DramaFever, which recently sold to Japan’s SoftBank, specializes in bringing international movies and TV shows to US audiences. In addition to its owned platforms, the company regularly syndicates content to Netflix and Hulu.
