Turkish Airlines has partnered with video distribution network Rightster on a new branded content campaign, which will fly a few big-name YouTubers to Istanbul and beyond.
From there, the YouTubers will end up going their respective ways via Turkish Airlines, where they’ll continue to capture their journeys on camera.
The footage from each YouTuber’s trip will be uploaded to Turkish Airlines’ YouTube channel, which has more than 59,000 subscribers. The campaign has enlisted creators from 10 different countries (Supertramp is based in the US, for example, Walters makes videos in the UK).
“This partnership showcases the increasing importance of global YouTube network partnerships delivering long term success for brands on the platform,” said Neset Dereli, the interactive marketing manager at Turkish Airlines, in a statement. “Bringing together creators from multiple networks and utilizing Rightster’s expertise in creating branded content will mean we have the opportunity to reach a truly global audience.”
The Turkish Airlines/Rightster campaign will last through the end of November.
