Jukin Media has hired Jonathan Nagy, former West Coast sales director at Discovery Digital Networks, as its first ever vice president of sales and branded entertainment.
On the branded content and partnerships front, Jukin Media has traditionally completed licensing deals that pair brands with relevant, viral user-generated clips within its library. Nagy is tasked with growing that business, as well as finding deeper integration opportunities.
“Jon Nagy brings tremendous experience, contacts, and expertise to his new role,” said Jonathan Skogmo, founder and CEO of Jukin Media, in a statement. “He already has some extremely creative ideas about integrating brands with our programming and UGC.”
Prior to Discovery Digital Networks, Nagy has held digital roles at Sports Illustrated and Live Nation. At Jukin, he will report to Lee Essner, president and COO of Jukin Media.
