Netflix’s “Wet Hot American Summer” prequel series continues to add to its already stellar cast.
Jon Hamm, Kristen Wiig, Jason Schwartzman, and Chris Pine are among the big names joining an ensemble that includes the entire cast from the cult 2001 film, according to Deadline. Earlier this week, Netflix released a teaser, which listed out all those from the original film confirmed to return for the prequel series, including Bradley Cooper, Amy Poehler, Paul Rudd, Elizabeth Banks, Ken Marino, and David Hyde Pierce, among others.
But it doesn’t end with them. Other newcomers for the prequel mini-series include Michaela Watkins, John Slattery, Josh Charles, Randall Park, Jayma Mayes, Lake Bell, Paul Scheer, Rob Huebel, and Richard Shiff.
“Wet Hot American Summer” is set to debut on Netflix this summer. The series is created and written by Michael Showalter and Wain (who co-wrote the original film), with Wain returning to direct and Showalter serving as showrunner. Executive producers include Wain, Showalter, Howard Bernstein, Jonathan Stern, and Peter Principato.
