SGA seeks to teach members how to build and expand their own YouTube channels through regular video tutorials, tips, and channel design tools. The community forum, which has its own, freshly redesigned YouTube channel with close to 70,000 subscribers, will now also highlight a different member every other week via a new series called “SGA Spotlight.”
Airing on every other Tuesday, “SGA Spotlight” is one of three new shows launching on SGA as part of the relaunch. Others include: weekly live show “SGA Live,” which will feature the Smosh Games team as well as occasional appearances from Anthony Padilla and Ian Hecox; and “Smosh University,” which will provide a glimpse into how Smosh Games makes videos, providing tutorials on skills such as editing techniques and capturing gameplay along the way.
“SGA Live” will air on Fridays while “Smosh University” will air every other Tuesday. All series will be hosted by Smosh Games’ Amra Ricketts (known to the community as FLitz), who joined the channel at the end of 2014.
