Multi-channel network Geek & Sundry kicked off the month of March with the unveiling of its web site’s new look (including a new logo, above), the soft launch of its Preferred Partner Network, a new curated destination for locating friendly local game stores around the world, and the announcement of two new original series, “Super Fun Awesome Party Game” and “Signal Boost.”
Hosted by Jesse Cox and Jessica Marzipan, “Super Fun Awesome Party Game” will give viewers tricked-out takes on classic games like Operation and Charades. For instance, with Twister, the mat will be covered in chocolate syrup. It premieres on March 3.
“Signal Boost” is a weekly series exploring the the top five things Geek & Sundry is obsessed with in a given week, from the coolest new websites to must-buy geek gear and crowdfunding projects worthy of attention. The show will rotate hosts every few episodes, starting with Marisha Ray (“Critical Role”). It debuts March 15.
Launched by Felicia Day, Kim Evey and Sheri Bryant in 2012, Geek & Sundry focuses on geek culture and lifestyle original content, including its flagship series “TableTop” and “Spooked. Its social footprint has grown to over four million and its live streaming platform GnSLive has one of the highest subscriber counts on on popular gaming live streaming platform Twitch, with over 15,000 paid subscribers. The company was acquired by Legendary Entertainment in August 2014.
