Pocket.watch, a self titled entertainment headquarters for kids 2-11 years-old, has entered into a long term partnership with Ryan ToysReview, a YouTube channel with over 9 million subscribers. The toy channel has generated over 700 Million video views in the last thirty days and was launched just under two years ago, making it one of the fastest growing channels on YouTube.
The partnership, which is tailored exclusively for Ryan ToysReview, will feature a multi-platform franchise development plan that aims to increase the channel’s growth by pushing into books, apps, licensing and merchandising, and premium original content.
“We have set out to work with brands that are breaking the mold in children’s entertainment and Ryan ToysReview is doing exactly that,” said Jon Moonves, Chief Strategy Officer of pocket.watch. “Ryan ToysReview has not only built a successful channel but also a brand with a very unique point of view. We are ecstatic to have the opportunity to help Ryan ToysReview usher in their next phase of growth.”
Another perk Ryan ToysReview will enjoy is direct access to pocket.watch’s team of industry veterans including Chris M. Additionally, Ryan ToysReview will have the support of a team of digital experts who will lend advice on the latest tools, trends and techniques, ensuring that all content created engages the widest possible audience. Ryan ToysReview will also be granted a significant equity stake in pocket.watch.
“While we have experienced tremendous success on our own, when we met with Chris, Albie, Jon, Chase and the team at pocket.watch, we knew we had only scratched the surface of what Ryan ToysReview could become,” said Shion at Ryan Toys Review. “Pocket.watch’s innovative business model and out of the box vision for our brand was unlike anything we’d heard before. We have been courted heavily by a number of media companies in the past, but with pocket.watch we know we have the right partners to bring Ryan ToysReview to entirely new heights.”
In addition, pocket.watch will now have exclusive access to Ryan Toys Review’s library of videos for packaging and distribution on pocket.watch-branded offerings outside of YouTube.

This isn’t the first time the company has partnered with a mega YouTube channel. Back in April, the company announced its first partnership with HobbyKidsTV, a family-YouTube channel with 2.4 million subscribers. The deal also granted the brand equity in pocket.watch and included a fast-tracked development deal for a new animated series and a book, to be led by pocket.watch’s Albie Hecht.
