Red Bull TV, an action-sports digital video network run by the energy drink brand, is now available for Apple TV users.
Available for free, Red Bull TV offers access to Red Bull’s library of live and on-demand sports and lifestyle content, which ranges from full-length episodes of Red Bull original series like “Red Bull Crashed Ice,” to previously aired TV live specials like that space-jump thing, as well as feature films and shorter clips.
An ad-free offering, Red Bull TV is also available for iOS and Android devices, Chromecast, and Samsung Smart TVs. Some of the network’s content also shows up on Red Bull’s YouTube channel, which reaches more than 3.2 million subscribers.
Apple has added a lot of content to Apple TV in the last few months. Apps from video providers like ABC, Crackle, ESPN, PBS, HBO Go, and Bloomberg are now available via the connected-TV platform. It’s led many to wonder (quite often and out loud) if Apple is finally ready to make its mythical TV play.
