Called “Vergaraland,” the series will take a look at Vergara’s working life, co-produced by her adult son, Monolo González Vergara. It will explore her role as an actress, businesswoman, and mother.
“Vergaraland” is set to debut this summer across six episodes. Fusion and Monolo Vergara are producing the series along with Sofia Vergara’s talent management and marketing firm, Latin World Entertainment.
At this point, Fusion has no shortage of original series on Snapchat. The media company has been capitalizing on Snapchat Discover since it debuted back in January, launching short-form series for the platform such as “Capitals,” “Weird Threads,” “The Artisans,” and “News in a Snap.”
